Pastor Israel Velasco
currently serves as an Associate Pastor at La Trinidad Church in San Fernando,
CA. Pastor
Israel joined the pastoral team at La Trinidad Church in 2009, but has been in
active ministry since 2003, including serving as a Youth Pastor for The People’s
Place International in 2005.
Pastor Israel also has a profound passion for local and global missions. In 2004 Pastor Israel founded J1 Productions, Inc., a non-profit organization specializing in reaching at-risk youth through outreach events within urban genres. Not only does Pastor Israel participate in local and international missionary work, he also sits on the Board of Directors for Interce-Accion Ministries, a non-profit organization that focuses on evangelism and outreach in the state of Colima, Mexico. Pastor Israel is also on the Advisory Board for Semillas de Vida Ministries, a weekly radio program broadcasted in the state of Colima, Mexico on a large secular FM station that focuses on evangelism and outreach. In addition, Pastor Israel holds a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design which has allowed him to partner as a consultant with various ministries, organizations, and groups for the last 10 years. Pastor Israel is currently the Director of Marketing and Digital Media for the National Latino Institute for Family Enrichment (NLIFE, Inc.), providing strategies, direction, and counsel that further support the vision and mission of this great organization.
Pastor Israel is married to Veronica, who also shares a deep passion for ministry and often assists him with his ministerial duties. Pastor Israel and Veronica have been married for 5 years and are blessed with two beautiful children, Jonah and Hannah.
Pastor Israel values the importance of leadership preparation and growth. Aside from personal and intentional time in the word of God, he continues attending leadership training courses, workshops, and seminars that provide better clarity in the ministry context and direction to accomplish the will of God in his life.
