Oscar O. Mendoza

Oscar Mendoza is married to Rosie Cuellar-Mendoza and they are blessed with two children. Rosie and Oscar have been married for nineteen years. As an entrepreneur, Oscar is the president, Founder and CEO of the National Latino Institute for Family Enrichment, NLIFE, Inc., a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Hispanic community in providing Family Life Enrichment resources and services necessary for families and family ministries to thrive. NLIFE, Inc. is also in strategic partnerships at a national level with Christian leaders, ministries and organizations committed to family ministry advancement among the Hispanic community.
As pastor of Family Life ministries at Trinity Church in San Fernando, CA., Oscar Mendoza works with couples and families in the English and Spanish congregations; serves as a member of the pastoral team; provides family and marriage counseling to the community and he is a regular speaker at Sunday English and Spanish services.
Oscar Mendoza is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary where he earned a Master in Divinity (MDiv.) with concentration in Family Life Education and he is also currently pursuing a Doctorate degree also at Fuller Theological Seminary.
He became an ordained minister with The General Council of the Assemblies of God in 2000, and he is also ordained with the Southern Pacific District of the Assemblies of God.
Oscar is an active member of the Parents-Teacher Association (PTA) for the elementary school in his city, a soccer coach for the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and a coach for the National baseball little league.
He has received numerous awards and recognitions from diverse institutions, among them are:
• Exceptional Academic Achievement Award, Southern Pacific District of the Assemblies of God, La Puente, CA, 2010.
• Keynote speaker at Norma Coombs Middle School 8th Grade promotion, Los Angeles School District, Pasadena, CA. Keynote address was
entitled “Overcoming the Giants”.
• Hispanic Leader of the Year Award, National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Sacramento, CA. 2002
